Hi everyone! Keep your eyes open for our 2017 March newsletter, which is in the mail along with bills for the upcoming 2017 season. In addition to mailing physical copies of our newsletters, we’ll be posting them here as well!
We are happy to say that after many years of holding off on repairs on our boat dock, we finally had the opportunity to do so this spring.
Our old dock was in need of repair for some time, with warped boards and also a potential safety hazard. Our new boat dock is already completed and ready for our upcoming season!
Just wanted to share some photos of our lake lowering efforts this past fall. Every 5 years we lower our lake by several feet in order to allow for lakefront homeowners to make dock repairs or perform shoreline work. We begun lowering the lake at the beginning of October, and our lake was back at full capacity by the end of November.
Hi everyone! Please make note of the following dates to remember for 2016!
Please remember we can use volunteers for ALL of these events – if you are interesting in helping out, please drop us a note at info@LakeSaginaw.org – thanks!
Our Annual Membership meeting will be held on May 7th at noon, following the second beach clean up. We’ll send reminders via email, as well post updates on our Facebook page.
All fully paid/active property owners in the Sparta Hills Beach Club Reservation are eligible to attend and vote on club matters. Officers and trustees will be elected at that meeting and other beach business will be discussed.
If we don’t have your email address, please send it to us at info@LakeSaginaw.org
We hope to see you there!
Fellow Lake Members,
We don’t know about you, but this mild winter has been very welcome, and we’re looking forward to a warm spring and summer sun very soon. We didn’t have any big projects this past year, but there are talks of a new boat dock, and possibly a new lake deck (all up for discussion).
We’ve been maintaining the beach and lake, and still know it to be the best-and cleanest-in the area. We hope you appreciate the efforts made as Lake Saginaw continues to improve and remain a fun lake community that we can all enjoy with family & friends.
Remember, this is your lake, and we all need to take care of it, and be respectful of the rules and fellow members as well.
Your Sparta Hills Beach Club Trustees
