SHBC Party Requests

Dear Lake Saginaw Members:

We were recently made aware of some new legal, environmental, and liability changes regarding member events (specifically member parties) at the Lake, and we are currently reassessing member parties due to these new changes.

This DOES NOT affect club sponsored parties like the opening picnic and end of year pig roast.

While we work on gathering information and specifics, and until further notice, no member parties (birthday parties, family parties, etc.) will be scheduled in June and July of this year.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will keep you updated on any changes as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Upcoming Beach Cleanup, 6/8/2019

Volunteers Needed

Hello everyone!

We have a scheduled beach cleanup day for Saturday, June 8th with a rain date of Sunday, June 9th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  Unfortunately our previously scheduled day was also on the same day as Sparta Day, so we decided to reschedule.

Due to the sparse turnout for the first cleanup, there is still much to do for the beach to be ready for the opening day of Saturday, June 22nd. We have numerous tasks that we could use assistance with, the more help the better, and the quicker we’ll get everything done.

We are asking any folks that are available to help (even if it’s just for an hour or two) that morning; your time and effort is certainly appreciated by us! Thank you!
